Acekard 2i 1.4 Firmware Fix
Fixing the Acekard 2i to get around the Nintendo DSi 1.4 firmware block. New firmware is located here: www.mediafire.com We used a DS Lite to update the firmware and then it worked on the DSi. All that’s required to perform this update is a few minutes with either a DSLite, regular DS, or DSi that is at version 1.3 or below. I’m not associated with the Acekard team. I’m only a customer showing what I used to fix the Acekard. I give no guarantees that these procedures will work for you. If you do have troubles with the update, check your microSD card and make sure all of the OS files are in place correctly. Maybe try reformatting and reloading the data on your microSD. Some people have reported that “fake” Acekards have been sold and may not work with this update. If you can’t get your Acekard to work after this firmware update and you’ve checked your microSD card, I know of no way to bring it back to life. I would recommend getting a new one. I got mine from DealExtreme.com for around . So it’s pretty cheap to replace. Although it takes a while to ship it from China. I can say from my experience that DealExtreme is a reputable retailer and I received and Acekard that worked with this update. I did see a comment that one person had gotten an Acekard from DealExtreme and it got messed up when he tried to do this update. My problem is that I went online with my DSi, and it updated itself to v.1.4.1u
after this, it stopped working. even when I tried to clear everything off my microSD and then reput everything in.
I also noticed that if I don’t have the update .nds files on it, it works on my friend’s DSlite, (but not my DSi, it doesn’t work with/without the update files)

I thought I had to play with my broken L and R buttons on my ds lite after I saw the acekard fail
@dquinn1980 Reload the OS files onto your microSD card. The files may have gotten corrupted.

Your Acekard 2i may be blocked again… You may need to look up the update since it’s out now! Just look up Acekard 2i 1.4.1 fix and you may make another video with your son if you like!

@provibe when i go onto my dsl in the menu it does not come up with acekard 2i just a comes up blank .. any ideas ?

Question! Are you using AKAIO? If you aren’t then your anti-piracy problems cannot be solved. Also Wii Connectivity with the DS Will be solved with AKAIO when it’s at least v1.5 or higher.
