Bioshock 2 Review!
SPCgaming’s first review of 2010 is that of 2K Games’ Bioshock 2. As a huge fan of the first game, can the second installment live up to the hype surrounding it. A multiplayer review will be posted separately upon request, as I have not had chance to delve too deep in to it. Multiplayer works, if that’s what you want to know! It’s faster, crazier and more frantic than the single player experience… and most importantly, it’s a lot of fun! bioshock good series!!wouldn’t pay 60 dollars bought 19 dollars from gamefly…well worth it…can’t wait till bioshock 3..

stunning I play it all the time during the break with my mum and dad they are incredibly good at it. I actually got it utterly free for my sony ps3 from here: 115 games [DOT] com there are literally thousands best thing about it is they are all free too oh i almost forgot 1:32 2 3:52 was striking
i freeze them in ice and use the drill dash or heavey revets

@CARLiNNiT it makes me wonder if they do make another one how will they do it, we have seen most of rapture, so im sure fans would want a new setting, but at the same time would it feel like bioshock withought rapture, what do you think, i mean it would be hard to find a captivating city as good as rapture, i love the idea of a city underwater, one thing i thought they should of done is underwater battles between big daddys and big sisters, that would of capitalized on the spear gun
@IDimeBarI I might buy MAG when the price goes down. I don’t play a whole lot of multiplayer so the fact it doesn’t have single player is a bit of a turn off for me… but when it’s at 25-30 quid I’ll probably get it.
@wesleyyoxall Yeah, Bioshocks characters are better than the second one. I thought a couple in this game were a bit brief… But I still think the setting is what really made the first game… so even seeing it for the first time if it was Bioshock 2, I’d be amazed – SPCgaming

@SPCgaming i dont know still because i just think the charictors made the game in bioshock 1, i mean sander cohen in the fort frolic level was awsome, although that guy in the tube in fontain futureistics kinda gave off the same feeling as the fort frolic level, but i just think andrew ryan was a better charictor then sofia lamb

If Bioshock 2 was out before Bioshock 1, I’d prefer 2. Because as I said in the review… Bioshock 2 is a better game. It’s tighter and more responsive, but the first Bioshock was a better experience… which to me, makes it better overall. The experience is what makes it memorable. So, if Bioshock 2 was first, it’d be fresh, new and original, which is what the first game has over Bioshock 2.
@CARLiNNiT ill have to agree with you, i liked the first bioshock better too, i think it had better charictors, i mean andrew ryan and sander cohen were amazing, warning spoiler, also there wasnt a boss at the end of bioshock 2, i was hoping there was going to be the ultimate big sister, but there were an onslaught of enremies though. Think about this though, what if bioshock 2 had been first to come out instead of 1, would we all think part 2 would have been better than 1

dunno about bioshock 2 cause i havent played it but bioshock 1 was amazing and judging by the trailers ive seen its creepier aswell i mean the fact that in the 2nd one u play as a savage gigantic muscular monste in the second one kind of lowers that scary feeling of going against people twice as strong as u cause ur playing as one of strongest things in rapture
GTA IV was astonishing, but Bioshock was just so new and exciting. I can see why people would dislike it though, it was kind of niche with it’s FPS/RPG elements. GTA IV appealed to a wider audience in that respect. Thanks for commenting!
Why everyone loved Bioshock so much? It had it’s pluses, but the best game ever made? NO! GTA4 is the best game of the next generation.
