Not only is the music bloody awesome. But look at that menu, its simple and yet it tells you everything you need to know, about what the game is.

Instead of the shitty menu in most games today, oh we are playing a movie, Tell you what i wanna play a game. :D

Make no mistake, this game was interminably captivating. Everything about it was amazing. There was something mystical about it, seriously, I can’t explain it, but it was, is, and will always be absolutely class

Absolutely wonderful game and very satisfying to play. I think most of you will agree with me that the 1980′s actually didn’t end on December 31, 1989. The 80′s carried over somewhat until about 1992, maybe even the beginning of 1993. I remember being a child around that time and things still had this 80′s feel to them, I can’t explain it… Anyways, this game definitely has an 80′s feel to it, utilizing the latest technology that was available at the time.

my favorite racing game of all fuxxxing time! i remember building tracks for my best friend with a lot of ways to decide. most of them ended in either endless side-tracks or brutal traps :D only one way from start to finish was the right one… precious memories..

@pisswizard nice idea, but it used to put the ramp as near as possible to the top to jump away from the circuit (of course it was impossible to do) xD
i liked that lancia delta a lot, even if it wasnt fast and that porche

  12. pisswizard says:

@mat5813 Oh yea. Some of them were killers. You couldnt even do a lot of them with the slow cars…that 4wd was totally useless. So many times you would fly off a ramp only to see the face of the next ramp as you smashed into it. Anybody ever put a ramp at the crest of a hill to make a jump twice as high?

  13. mat5813 says:

@pisswizard of course i remember, you could either turn left and or go straight. and what about that “queen” circuit, damn it, the most difficult one.

i can’t recal how many…. but i spend MANY hours with the track editor :P

  15. pisswizard says:

I used to trade tracks with people on discs at school. I really loved this game. I used to think I could do a jump over the fence if I tried hard enough, not realizing it was just a flat wall ahaha. Remember that first track where the barrier would get you every time unless you turned before the hill?

@karebeari Yeah! Until recently I only knew the pc speaker version… How the old programmers were able to do such a feat?!

  17. MaximumPayne12 says:

Oh man I played this game for years and years :D

  18. TriggerWojtas says:

@karebeari Yes I played that game on my Tulip/pentium 284. I had black/white monitor and pc speaker only. Spend like few years at this game making custom maps and playing with friends:P

  19. dargaardMS says:

I had this on my 286. Had to turn the graphics down to the lowest settings to make it playable. I had EGA 16 color 320×200 (if I remember right) graphics and PC speaker sound. Oh I loved this game.

  20. karebeari says:

    pc speaker version, anyone?
