Hey WELL DONE & nice little set up you have there. I have a lovely micro korg XL, a Juno G & a few other awesome home keyboards & I have Sonar 7. I’ve done a CD of me singing & playing oldies that I perform for edlerly day groups. I’ve done a cover of Amarillo with me using my own harmony & a vocoder efx of my PSR 3000 keyboard. I play a lot of Gary Numan & kraftwerk, record bits of my own stuff but it’s just a hobby. My career aim is in animal welfare.

@jam101606 The keyboard that he’s playing is the MicroKorg XL and the one in the background is the Korg MicroSampler. (They both have mics).

  7. jam101606 says:

whats the keyboard with the mic called?

    Hi!

    That was really great! :D

I’ve got the KORG DS1+ & am pretty brainless about how to release its powers. The keyboard’s certainly one way for performers. Just loved the arrangement & arpeggiation.

Little by little, I’ll learn. I got a lot of pleasure just hearing the music. This sounds soooo good! :O)

    Sunshine & Blessings!

@13slipknotmaggot Technically you only need headphones but you might want to invest in a cheap amplifier or even better, a roland mobile cube amp, which can run on batteries just like the microkorg!!

IS IT TRUE THAT I CAN GET ALL of the original microkorg’s sounds with the download of Sound Editor ONTO A NEWER MICROKORG XL?
In other words…if I buy the xl….and I download the editor…WILL i BE ABLE TO, ALSO, GET ALL OF THE SOUNDS / SYNTH PATCHES OF THE ORIGINAL ONTO MY NEWER MICROKORG XL?
I am trying to decide between the two.
so if it is the case that by…just buying the xl…i can get both the sounds of the newer and the older…than i will just buy the newer xl

    thanks!

which one has more retro spacey sounds….the original microkorg or the korg xl?

If you could only have one…would it be the microkorg or the korg xl?
