New Characters
There are over 30 playable characters of which 15 are brand new; Doc Hudson academy of student racers, Chick Hicks academy of student racers, Motor CO Pit Crew, Not Chuck, Guido, Tater, Tater Jr., Bubba, Trophy Girl, Chick Hicks Pit Crew, Doc Hudson Pit Crew, Vin Racer along with major boss characters who are Chick Hick’s protégés; El Machismo, Candice and Stinger.
New Mini-games
Experience a vast world of new mini games based in the Pixar universe and elsewhere. These include: Mack Track Challenge based off of the Mattel toy, three different games based on Disney Pixar’s Cars Toons episodes (El Materdor, Mater the Greater, & Tokyo Mater), plus many new original games like Photo Op, Auto Cross, Tractor Stampede, and Transporter.

I bought my nephew this game for Christmas for his new Nintendo DS. He absolutely loves it. On Christmas day, he had already won five of the dozen or so car races. Each race that is won unlocks the next race. He’s still playing it daily. His grandma was looking all over the house for him the other day and he was quietly playing this game! Anyone that has an active 4-yr-old knows that it is virtually impossible to keep them happy and quiet. This game did it!

I bought this game for my daughter’s birthday, and she absolutely loves it. In fact, her little brother loves to sit beside her when she’s playing it and watch it. He’s convinced it’s the movie.
I highly recommend this game for all fans of the Cars movie.

This is not my 5 year-old son’s favorite game, but he does play it from time to time. The graphics are good, but the sound is just okay. If it didn’t have to compete with Mario for his attention, I’m sure it would get used more. He likes trying to run Chick Hicks off the road, but you can’t control who you’re racing against so that doesn’t always happen. Overall, a good racing game for kids.
