Classic Game Room – NINTENDO 3DS hardware review pt2

Part 2 of 2: Classic Game Room reviews NINTENDO 3DS hardware from Nintendo, Nintendo’s answer to gaming on mobile phones, tablets, iPhones, cell phones and everything else that is cutting into their market. The 3DS allows for 3D gaming without annoying 3D graphics, but the 3D effect can be harsh to look at over lengthy periods of time and doesn’t work well with every videogame.

@kirby010694 yes but the 3D screen may be too thick or something for the sensors to work properly. And I did not call nintendo a dumbass, they separated the 3D and the touchscreen. the NGP would not be able to

  2. insertclevernickname says:

How the HELL do you do a review about the 3DS and not mention the augmented reality feature. I’d shell out the cash for that alone. Seems fishy, bet this dude works for Microsoft or Sony.

  3. MacawSonny says:

deffintly a ps or ms fanboy who ever did this review

@kirby010694 You just basically contradicted yourself there. If it’s more accurate, then why is it for Motion Control? Is it more accurate in the way the buttons react? Besides, I doubt it’s more accurate, at least, with the Wii Plus. Maybe on it’s own, the Move ma have better “accuracy”.

  8. kirby010694 says:

@Bittergamer1886 I never claimed it was revolutionary. And it’s strives where that it’s more accurate than the wiimote(which it is). But that’s not really saying much. Better accuracy is a great yet terrible thing when it comes to motion control games, pending on what you’re playing.

  9. Bittergamer1886 says:

@kirby010694 The thing is, is that the Move never made any strives to prove it’s better than the Wii. It even has it’s own “nun-chuck”. There is a difference between making a revolution in a similar product, and being a total rip-off. Sony’s Move, to me, will be miles below the revolutionary line.

  10. kirby010694 says:

@Bittergamer1886 Yes but then one can argue that most games out their are rip-offs by that very same logic. There are differences between the wiimote and The Move; which isn’t anything major, but there still are differences.

  11. Bittergamer1886 says:

@kirby010694 The games you may be thinking of actually revolutionized something. IMO, the Move does nothing better the Wii does except for fancier graphics, and that’s why I think it’s more of a rip-off than anything else.

  12. kirby010694 says:

@Bittergamer1886 If you knew anything about gaming, then you’d call just about everything out there to be a “rip off”, because most games/ideas aren’t that original.

  13. Bittergamer1886 says:

@kirby010694 Basically, when ever you say “I’m gonna say” or “I’m not gonna say”, that’s a theory or opinion. So basically, you are 100% SURE that the Move was not a Wii rip-off? I think it is a rip-off. You think it isn’t. Until it is confirmed, it’s an opinion. IMO, I think it’s a rip-off. And childish? Really? I may be 14, but I am nowhere near as childish as other people my age. I have the right to disrespect a company if I want to, and I’m sure no one will think different of me.

  14. ciranno says:

@EdtheBlueNinjaYoshi4 “the problem about being sarcastic…”

  15. kirby010694 says:

@Bittergamer1886 There was nothing opinionated in my statement. I just thought it was rather childish of you to disrespect a whole video game developer.

  16. Bittergamer1886 says:

@kirby010694 You are entitled to your opinions, and I respect them fully, but I will have to disagree. But whatever. Agree to disagree.

  17. kirby010694 says:

@ComradeMagnum I doubt it would even that difficult, due to the fact that touch screen really just is a screen with touch sensors underneath it(for the most part). And are you calling Nintendo a dumbass? If so that’s uncalled for and rather immature on your part.

  18. JER12700 says:

@areyouserious83 Couldn’t say it better myself.

  19. kirby010694 says:

@Bittergamer1886 I’m not gonna say it’s a rip-off, because the Move is heavily influenced by the wii remote, but there are some differences. Also game developers have been doing this for years, Sony was just responding to what they thought would be a smart move, and it didn’t really work out to well on their part due to the pricing of the Move and the Ps3, and the lack of hardcore v Casual Move games.

  20. Bittergamer1886 says:

@lolfreak21196 I can guarantee you, Nintendo will always stay with what it did best. It did it with the Wii, it will do it with the 3DS.

  21. Bittergamer1886 says:

@kirby010694 The PS3 move? How can you NOT call that a Wii rip-off? It looks nearly exactly the same, the only difference is that giant fucking ball at the top of the controller.

  22. ComradeMagnum says:

@kirby010694 firstly, I have no idea if the 3D screen and capacitive touchscreens are even compatible technologies atm. And I highly doubt Sony will shell out millions of research dollars just for this. If they go with 3D it’ll be glasses 3D. Also, I know that some dumbass developer will try to have 3D and touchscreen at the same time.

  23. bcmedj says:

    @SMRUSH that is so true

  24. EdtheBlueNinjaYoshi4 says:

    @ciranno

It’s still 3D. It just doesn’t do much pop-out 3D. The third dimension is depth. 3D doesn’t necessarily mean that things will be popping out at you. Sure, some 3DS games do this some of the time, but it’s mostly just used to add depth. The fact that you assumed that it needs glasses just because shit doesn’t pop out at you is downright stupid.

  25. kirby010694 says:

@Bittergamer1886 Not thieves by any means. Sharing is caring, and console developers have been sharing and using other creators ideas for a long time now
