This will show you how to update your Acekard 2i to run on DSi firmware 1.4.1 or 1.4.2.

@crazytsip Yes it will. Firmware version 1.4.2 wasn’t released in the US, so that’s the reason I don’t have it. When you update it, do it exactly as it is in the video too. If you reverse the order you’ll need to find another DS/Lite/i to update it.
does it really work on 1.4.2 cause in this vid it is 1.4.1. mine 1.2 and if i upadte it it will go directly 1.4.2 so please tell me if it really works

@KawaiiiDubs2010 I have no experience with the R4i line of products unfortunately. If this is your card you may want to check their site to see if they have a similar update.

@kyyte I assume you are trying to get the card to run on your DSi? Just drag the update file to your “apps” folder (or your equivalent), and run it on the DS Lite. What firmware version is your DSi?
so I tried redoing everything with a new microSD card. The new Akaio (1.8.5) firmware with the 1.4 update works fine on the DSlite, but once I put the file for the 1.4.1 update on the card, the DSlite cannot detect it. (My DSi gives me the error message)

My Acekard 2i will work on a DS Lite, but not on my DSi. What’s up with that? Seriously, what do I need to do to rectify this situation?

Official carts work fine on both DSi and DSlite. The pins are not turning black yet.
My friend just suggested to me that I should use another SD card (because I’ve been using the same one) I’m going to give that a try and tell you how that goes. Thanks~~~
@kyyte If it is detected on other systems 100% of the time I would say it’s the system, but I can’t say for sure without looking at it. Is this the only cart that the system has trouble loading? Are the pins starting to look black?
Sometimes the DSlite detects the acekard, and sometimes it doesn’t (even after re-inserting/restarting multiple times)
no, my acekard is not very old. It’s probably less than 2 months old.
@kyyte Doesn’t always work how? The DS Lite never had any updates to block the card. Have you used the card so much that you have worn down the pins?
I tried updating with my friend’s DSlite that is an older update, but the acekard doesn’t always work on his DS.
@kyyte You need to find a DS (Lite) or DSi with 1.4 or lower and use that to update.
No, the acekard doesn’t say “alex rider” it’s still the “danny phantom” game.
I accidentally updated my DSi before updating my acekard… and now it’s not working.
would you have any ideas about how to fix that up?
