haha yeahh it actually sucks when you die in a boss battle
the save system is good in theory but they just need to improve it a bit, for one there was a loop hole that allows you to completely bypass the system, all you had to do was quick save and just reset your system when you die. Dieing screws you over, which does make it scarier but dieing at a boss battle screws you over too much.
and of course scarce ammo is always a staple of any survival horror, but so is exploration and you can have one intrude on the other.
well about the 2nd one its a survival horror, so you must get screwed when you die, and amo is scarce, i think it was a good twist for saving in a survival horror…
just saw in nintendo power that one of the wepons is a knife….mele combat!!!

The first game was good but it has 3 major flaws that need to be fixed for the sequel. I’ll list them from biggest to smallest.
1.Repetitiveness – this game was extremely repetitive in almost every aspect. repetitive audio, repetitive enemies, repetitive level design
2.Save system – the concept for the save system was good but it was poorly executed, and it didn’t work well with the boss battles.
3. Enemies would always respawn once you leave a room and ammo wouldn’t discouraging exploration
