it looks clunky, somewhat weird…. I hope games are better than this, tho Nintendo never ceases to amaze everybody out there so I dont worry that much
@Raoul0Duke78 The 3DS already has games coming out in 2011 that look better than this tech demo. It’s more than capable of rendering these graphics.
@Raoul0Duke78 except for the part where this is clearly being run on futuremark, which means the GPU is in fact producing all of the textures (lol), frames, motions, lighting, filters, and I’m willing to bet for post processing, but that has nothing to do with the GPU.
this is well above what the Saturn VDP1 can do.

Convenient the demo is of a stick figure with mask, and not of a human with facial expressions. Its also just a FMV demo like the original PS3 tech demos, and we all know those FMV’s were not representative of the systems ACTUAL capabilities. At this resolution, a Sega Saturn could render this FMV, so I don’t know what the fuss is all about.
I’d be waiting to see what the games actually look like, while playing them in your hand, not on YouTube.

IMPORTANT UPDATE!!!:: DMP says that they have updated the chip to be better and to produce better 3D graphics so the FPS would be better beat that sony (but i don’t care about this because i stopped fighting over what’s better

@zekogroundzero Actually the tegra 2 for psp2 is just a rumor, matter of fact no info on the psp2 has been released, no one has ever confirmed its existence. Everything about the psp2 right now is just a rumor.

and graphics will be even better than this.This is the old 2006 version Nintendo are using an new better version so expect PS3Xbox 360 graphics the PSP2 will be using the Nvidia Tegra 2

@GrimReaper007 no i disagree. i love classic gaming, i collect for snes, genesis and nes, but theres a ton of really good and creative modern video games out there today, and i love my current systems just as much as i love my classic systems.
@eV13W not according to resident evil 3ds and metal gear solid 3ds – both show ps2+ level of quality graphics and both were presented from realtime graphics rendering from the gpu * while in 3D mode*
Looks like a fake. This level of graphics aren’t achiveable even on usual PC hardware. This looks like CG of 90-x. Just look at the mirroring on ground and shadows.
Or this video entierly rendered or strongly postprocessed.
