Besides the hype, what is different between the new DSI and the older DS Lite? When it comes down to it, not that much. The DS lite allows online gaming, plays the same games as the DSI (For now), and includes a GBA port. When i open my YM I asked my ninang to buy me a Ds lite,so when my ninang came i am so excited and i think my heart is gonna blow,when i saw my ninang she hugged me and gave me My request,My most liked nintendo DS lite.And i can’t believe it then i just looked at it a long time then i opened it and i read the instructions before i play my nintendo DS lite!!!!

I mean, all my mates own one at my age. A majority of YT users who are older have uploaded video’s of certain games.
I wish people would stop saying that 17 is too old to play a DS. It’s ridiculous, it’s like saying, “over 13+’s are too old to have a PS3 or a Xbox” So when you turn 16, are you going to drop everything you have played?
But to completely give it up just because others think you are too old. If you people are gnna say that, you are too young to understand.
@metroidM1A1 Fair enough for the change.. but I still don’t agree with you about the age. Everyone played one. In the BETA they gave them to adults to play and kids. If you still don’t believe me, then why do adults on a daily basis play those brain training games. Mario is a classic, people are going to play it no matter what age. Adults love that game, because it was around when they were younger. Why do you think adults own I-pods and I-phones? Sorry, but you peeved me off there.
@sazycute1993 original ds was great for the time but things change and most people get tired of the same old features…..i hav gba and gba sp so the dsi not having the gba slot dosent really mean anything to me….
@metroidM1A1 Yes and um, correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought the DS Original was the maker of all these other ones, so shouldn’t you be giving some credit to that, instead of having the thought in your head “THE DSI IS THE BEST” because it’s not getting you anywhere
@metroidM1A1 Too old?? My uncle plays one… My teacher plays one…. You can never be too old to play a DS, maybe too young
And 2nd, I’m not a dude, I’m a dudess, get it right 
With out a GBA slot, what is a DS? The DS was created so we could play Advance games still… They should have stopped at the Lite in my opion. Now we can’t play Guitar Hero, and several other games for on the move. Don’t tell me I’m too old. You are too young my friend.
@metroidM1A1 i had mine for 5 years, it keeps its charge longer and it can play gba games. and i just got a dsi so now i know and i only got the dsi cause they only had the lite in pink
ds lite is the best for me
bottom line is ds ite is a great ds better than the original but dsi has more features and improves ones from the ds lite so it better….get over it ds lite fanboys…just because ur stuck with it does not mean its better…

@theshadowmannikolaus dsi has better buttons then the ds lite….it has better screens(better resolution bigger) its thinner but wider to fit in ur hands….and its multimedia

the only people that say the ds lite is better are people who cannot afford the dsi…
all i care about is reliability, and my ds lite has been working for 5 years. so i say ds lite is better
