DSi XL first impressions
This system is such a blast and even though it is quite massive, the exciting gameplay and visuals definitely make up for it! If you don’t own at a DSi XL you should check one out! Hope this video is helpful for making your decision to get one!

@toroga1 People complain about the larger pixels, but when you play for the first time you think it looks awesome. And then, when you play the DS Lite, it looks like the pixels became virus-sized. That’s why I only play my DS Lite when I travel, because it is more portable

Dude…the same resolution + a larger screen = slightly larger pixels.
So no, it’s not a myth. It’s just the way they’re made but really it’s not a big deal to most people.
I just bought one for my 4-yr old son for Christmas and I don’t think he’ll love it any less

@cochywii I know, but for collection purposes it’s just soooooo cool!!!! Haha, I’m glad you like it, though! The XL in general was such a smart move by Nintendo.
@relewis2011 i love it so much, it has those beatiful big screen and that gorgeus red color with the mario artwork, its really sad that you don`t have one, but hey remember that is just a different color, the blue one is good to

@relewis2011 hi, i got the red mario limited dition and its awesome,i had a ds lite but it broke so i decided to buy a dsi xl and then the mario one came out, that was really convenient XD
i alredy got my blue xl i just love it!!!
@metaitachi The resolution remains the same on every ds. I am saving for a 3DS. But I also want an XL
@yalamix Really? I thought that the reason it appears pixellated on the i is because the games were made with a smaller resolution. If your right though, good news for anyone who wants an xl. I would still save up for 3ds tho but your money, your choice
@metaitachi They say the games get pixallated on DSi XL, but that’s a myth, I saw one and I tested it, XL is slightly more powerful than the Lite and the DSi, because nintendo knew that people would say it is pixellated if it had the same hardware.
@yalamix I dunno man, i have a DSi with a slightly bigger screen than the lite and some games look slightly pixellated. I cant imagine how itll be on the xl. But if youre still adamant, go ahead and enjoy it

@metaitachi I’m saving up for that. But I need a DS to play, can’t stop thinking about DSi XL. I’m without my DS for 2 weeks, I can’t wait for April 2011! Tomorrow the day will come, I’ll buy a DSi XL

@relewis2011 I have a DS Lite, but it fell off my hands and hit the ground when was open, so the down LCD literally exploded from inside. I’m gonna download games because here the games are VERY, VERY, VERY EXPENSIVE. My dad’s gonna give me the DSi XL + R4i and a Wii Remote wrist strap so I don’t drop my DSes anymore

@relewis2011 Hey, I’m gonna get mine on Wednesday! It’s Bronze, because Midnight Blue will be avaiable only on the end of the month and I can’t wait XD

@relewis2011 Bronze if I am lucky (and if my dad gives me one). Here at Brazil there’s only Burgundy, Bronze and Midnight Blue. If there were more colors (like in Japan) I would get maybe the green or the white… But I’m fine with Bronze

1. Hii, I was looking at your site, and I was thinking about ordering the r4i Gold 2.0 version, but on the r4-site I can’t find a firmware for it, what should I download for the 2.0 version?
2. also If i buy an extra r4 card now, (as a backup, like the sdhc), and I use it later, will I still be able to find the firmware for it?)
3. what is the difference between Gold and SDHC? which one is better?

Is really Acekard2i better than all R4 cards? i only ask because everyone who tryes this ones and Acekard said so perhaps updates for kernels in R4 takes like too long sometimes compare to the Acekard2i that they update monthly and less.

K I downloaded all the software and put it into the sd card but I have a white screen on the top and black screen on the bottom on my nintendo ds….
No sorry: they have to be in the cartridge.
will the games work if you put your SD card in the DSi’s SD card slot
