It’s about that time again, kiddos. In addition to some new hardware, including the DSi XL, I also got a number of new retro games like a trio of boxed Intellivision games and a slew of PS1 titles. Red Steel 2 and Monster Hunter Tri bundles round out some modern releases.

yes that i do know sorry should have explained it better i ment a ds with a built in memory card so that if your ds game breaks you dont have to start all over

@finngamer There doesn’t seem to be too many retro shops here either. :/ I just got lucky. I actually live in a really bad area for collecting all together. No flea markets, yard sales, pawn shops, etc. I have to pay market value for almost everything!
@ZeroXinWind The very first PS3 models had full PS2 backwards compatibility. Any other model since has had it removed, probably to lower manufacturing costs.

@SofaKingMatt Hm, what parts of the series? MegaTen games are all over the place, especially here in the US where Atlus attaches it to games that were not originally MegaTen games in Japan.
I guess I can say that it sets you up well and provides you with plenty of tutorials and documentation, but the game can get pretty rough at times. It’s not brutally difficult, but you’ll find yourself in some tricky fights and getting by on the skin of your teeth. Challenging, but still fun I’d say.
@StephsTooDef I think you should take the plunge.
It’s a pretty fun game, and Tri is probably the most the most accessible!

@hooflung128 It really has come into its own. Maybe a year or two ago its library wasn’t so hot, but it’s really improved.
