YAY FFV and VI have been added to the Playstation Network!!!!!!!!
I own this, but never played past the beginning.
I hear it’s so well recieved, & everyone loves it, that it’s legendary etc.
I’m at a loss as to why there haven’t been extended projects on it, given it’s well-liked reputation. I’ll have to give it another go, I’m deadly curious.
They should really REALLY make a remake of this game.

The fmv for this sucked, it never needed to be made, and it didn’t capture FF6 properly at all.
If they are going to make remakes from the old FF’s, they should do what SEGA did to the classic Sonic in Sonic Generations. DON’T add voices, DON’T change the gameplay, ONLY update the graphics, but keep them as close as possible to the original. NO new clothes, hair, scars, whatever. JUST upgrade the graphics. Then you have a good remake.

@JoelMonteiro Recognition and a remake…they already made Setzer look like a total douche in Kingdom Hearts II, so if that’s any indicator of what a spin-off would look like, I agree.

This is the first FF game that I bought ^.^ I named Sabin “Zack” because all he wanted was freedom…
So this is the same final fantasy III from snes that i played as a kid.
@poetluke I suggest looking up HCBailley’s “Let’s Play Final Fantasy VI” series on YouTube. He does a good job at providing a lot of info while not spoiling the plot. And I’m extremely jealous if you’re playing FF VI for the first time…
I just bought this on psn psone classics! I havent played any of the ff games from psone and ps2 and I just bought a bunch of them. Does anyone know good places to find game guides?
I almost don’t want a remake because the original (and Playstation port) are already perfect. I’m afraid they might butcher it if they try to remake it.

I am very thankful that Tetsuya Nomura was never a big part of FF6′s success.
I can’t imagine him mercilessly abusing these characters by changing their personality and putting them into unnecessary spin-offs or fan service sequels.
Case in point: just look at Setzer in Kingdom Hearts. He’s the only FF6 character there (being he’s the only character he designed for this series) and god was it awful.

This was just a sick game, from being a small resistance in the beginning, the “armageddon” in the middle, the opera house, then at the end killing “god” who’s hobby was to kill innocent people for “fun”. What a fucking epic game.

@animejerk05 ummm why would the emperor be trhe final boss? kefka is the one who poisoned the water of doma trapped the espers in a factory, kidnapped the rest then used their power to ruin the world after he just used and killed general leo, then in the end he became a god and almost destroyed the world
