FlashMe v8a Installation Guide

A guide on how to install FlashMe v8a on a Nintendo DS Lite. Get FlashMe at home.comcast.net

Apparently, when you use the DS’s alarm feature, you can opt to use the rumble pack with it. Well, unfortunately, this option is only available to me when I have my non-rumbly Max Media Dock in. Does anyone know how to “unlock” this mystery feature?

  30. mattigi says:

does the old DS rumble pak work with the DS lite?

  31. tymo1234 says:

    Last time!
They’ve blocked it but couldn’t delete the original code! That still works on Max Media! Bye!

  32. tymo1234 says:

    By the way!
When the second version of the DS came out (Lite), they just couldn’t change that code, because they ‘copied’ the software form the ORIGINAL DS. Anyway the reason why it’s not working is that (in a beta-stage) they tested all the codes and now it seems that the Rumble Pack feature doesn’t work at all! Even with the Rumble Pack in it it doesn’t work, so they blocked the Rumble Pack feature!

  33. tymo1234 says:

Don’t you know what that is? Jeez…
When Nintendo first invented the DS they put in a option with a code to activate that Rumble Pack. What’s funny is that the Rumble Pack turnes out to have another code and even funnier is that the max Media Dock has the pre-programmed (original) Rumble Pack code.

  35. AparoidX says:

I don’t like Jolt, BAWLS Guarana is better. :)

  36. JesperWidell says:

    Stop drinking all that JOLT!

  37. kougerman22 says:

    alright. thanks!

  38. AparoidX says:

Well if you don’t already have a homebrew device, I would highly recommend NOT getting a Max Media Dock, as they are somewhat unreliable and incompatible. You could get a much better card (like CycloDS Evolution) for about the same price, and for much cheaper.

Go to cyclopsds . c o m, there’s a list of resellers on their page. You have to order online, but you’ll save a lot of time/money.

  39. kougerman22 says:

where can you buy it? how much does it cost?

  40. AparoidX says:

    Nope.

  41. kougerman22 says:

do you have to mod your DS to use Media Max?

  42. blowbomber says:

it did the same thing to me…

  43. AparoidX says:

Heh, I don’t think I’ll be buying it anytime soon for THAT price… xD

  44. rjbr2000 says:

When you buy it, can you tell me the result please?

  45. AparoidX says:

I would try the Lite one, but the cheapest price I can find it for is around $30.

  46. rjbr2000 says:

I think it’s because there are 2 versions of Rumble pak. You’re using the one for the DS Phat. If you have the one for DS Lite, you might as well try it.

  47. AparoidX says:

I’d like to get it to work. It’d be really cool.

  48. Mgamerz says:

I know, I saw that! I had it with my MMD and it did the same thing. I wonder what is up with this?

  49. AparoidX says:

I wouldn’t think so. It’s handling a really simple process, and it’s on sleep mode. If you have a well-charged battery, you’d be able to keep it on all night.

  50. milanman22 says:

does havin the alarm on all night waste the battery?
