@9gopreds i own pokemon platinum in japanese and it works just fine.

your so naive.
japanese video games work on american dsi’s, just some games are region locked.

I have a question,
I put Pokemon White in the Action Replay Dsi on my Dsi XL, and when I click “boot game”, it freezes the Action Replay and stays on the boot game mode. Any help?
@SteffSoft That’s right, ARDSi boots the DSi in DS mode, so he’s playing the DS version, not the DSi version.

So in fact this makes it so that you can’t use the DSi-features? So he’s basically playing the regular DS version on a DSi XL?
I’m confused…
You want to know why?
Because ARDSi fires the DSi up in DS Mode, making Pokémon White think you’re using a normal DS or DS Lite, and so bypass the region lock (and the DSi features).
To prove me right, in DS Mode, BW shows 2 dashes in the battery life, while in DSi Mode, it shows 3.
