This is a great vid! But do you do 1 for the original ds?? The hinge is broken and I need to replace the case. Or are the two ds’s the same to take apart??

its the remix with eminem
i need to replace the bit of plastic on the top, the bit with the 2 squares logo. Would it come off ok if i just unscrew the 4 screws around the top screen and slide it off? Or would i have to take it apart completely?

nds seems more difficult to change case than the psp :/ thanks for the how to .

oh yea the ribbon cables are fragile but look at 5:31

@ClareJ7 it almost sounds like something is shorting out between the battery and charger o.0 try getting a new battery and then try charging it…if it doesnt work then its something between the charger and battery
thanks for the video now I can make itself my DS and I have to pay no more repair

that happend to me but i just glued it back together and it works perfectly =D last 3 years its been fine =)
Hi, I replaced my case as I had the same problem as the DS in the video. Everything worked fine before i replaced the case, once i’d put everything back together the DS worked fine until the battery ran out and now it wont charge. Any ideas what could cause this?
Looks likes ds torture to me :d
