Six hours… god damn it.
I don’t have that much free time to do it! Neither I have someone to do it for me…
But I am pretty good with my hands… it should help, no?
Three hours is short! I did it in six:p But that was including running back and forth to my computer checking this tutorial.:p I saved 60 euro’s though. (That’s how much I have to pay for it in my town) And finally succeding in some difficult parts was odly satisfying.:D
OMFG, dude, Put the damn hinge in before the mother board and buttons!! Trust me, I fix these and other game consoles ofr a living.

How does this work long-term?
In my town there’s someone willing to do this for me for $25 US… i don’t know about u, but if it take this guy 40 minutes to do it, it’ll take me like 3 hours. so 25/3 = 8.33… so… minimal wage… not too bad eh?
How long is it to assemble it looks so complicated, how did you put the peises together?

i wish someone could replace my shell for free im to scared to do this
I really want to do this but those hinges scare me, all the antenna wires… I am worried that I will mess something up. So far I only tried the basics, like replacing button pads and broken screens but thats about it… Great video though.
i noticed you didnt screw the curcit board in to place and the screw behind the battery

take it apart again and firmly put in the screens??? thought of that yet
Yes its the wifi module either loose of broken. The back wire plugs into it it plugs into the mainboard. This guy struggles with the the top screen ribbon hold both parts in each hand the ribbon away furthest away
when i turn on the game, the screens never turn on….
any suggestions?
Try a screwdriver with a bigger phillips head.
No, you can buy a new power switch which you solder to yuor current motherboard for like $2.

the hardest part of the whole process for me
After many attempts of trying to remove the battery cover i kinda wore out the screw (that holds the battery cover in place). any idea on how to extract it somehow?

This Movie is a perfect help to replacing the DSLite Case. NOTE TO NOOBZ—- When replaceing the Last part of the case make sure you keep an eye on the power button, i cracked the little tiny black pice right off now I have to find a new motherboard
