Actually, Ultimate Carnage is a combination of Venom and Peter Parker’s cloned DNA. It doesn’t have a human host. He can take a human host, but he was in SHIELD custody at the time of the game, and therefore doesn’t have one, at least not one that we’re told about.

Alright people get this, anyone who says that he doesn’t have or need a host body is only partially correct.
Carnage DOES take a host body…but the one thing that you guys were trying to get at is that technically, carnage doesn’t NEED a host body. Carnage is a more powerful version of symbiote spider-man that can congeal of his own free will. Carnage just TAKES A HOST BODY because it AMPLIFIES his POWER as a symbiote.
