Mathews Z7 70/30 – 3 Slow Motion Lumenok shots
Mathews Z7 70/30 with HHA-DSXL 5519, QAD-HD rest, 10″ Featherlite Stablizer, G5 3/16 peep site. Shooting Goldtip Hunter XT 5575 / 100 grain tip, blazer fletching & Burt Coyote Lumenoks @ 20 yds. Using a Winn Archery Loop Hook release. Got this bow right after Christmas 2009. Never shot a compound bow before Thanksgiving 2009. Shot my friends Mathews DXT and got the fever. 1st two shots are slightly high & left…last shot is dead on. Not too shabby for a NOOB. One other thing…IBO rating for this bow is “up to” 332 fps; however, with my arrows and bow cranked up to 70lbs I’m only getting 306 fps.

@mohrsvillecoolkids only the carbon matrix is better then the z7 the rest i shot with hoyt sucked the z7 is one of the best bows this year

@zziNsanityz the new hoyt is sick…ive shot mathes for 10 years and would get hat hoyt if i could afford it but instead i just bought the Z7
@zziNsanityz I’ve only shot Mathews brand. Out of all the ones I’ve shot I thought this had one of the smoothest draws. Besides this bow, I shot the DXT the most. I like this more than the DXT. It’s very accurate. You won’t be disappointed. I use a WinnArchery Loop Hook release which is great for hunting. You just snag your loop with the release…you don’t have to close the release around the loop. It’s a lot quicker & easier in my opinion.
@chooeee Hey man im shooting a pse bow madness and am realy looking at this bow! Do you sugest it over any other bow youve ever shot? Hoyt sucks so dont tell me that! What release do you use?

maxing out the z7 with competition arrows is not a good idea. you should allow 5 grains per fps of speed. im shooting the z7 pulling 57lbs, 28 inch draw and are pushing the beman 500′s, 7.1gpi to their maximum limit. shooting 284fps

@aanderson66 I got the Pro Hunter’s 7595 with feathers…I can’t believe the difference from my Hunter XT’s with blazers. I hope to have a Turkey video uploaded in the next week : ) Going hunting.
I got my Z7 last night and I fell in love with it
Talked to my guy at the proshop. Going to try out some GoldTip Pro Hunters 7595, getting them fletches with 4″ RH feathers. I’m curious to see how feathers are vs. blazers.
yes the 7595 are a .340 spine. some target arrows are lighter so they shoot faster and drop less (but also weaker). I think anyting thats a line cutter or X cutter is a really wide shaft and you dont want that for hunting. with your draw and at 70lbs that bow should shoot a hunting arrow at or above 300fps. thats a pretty flat shooting bow with alot of KE. you can use a lighter target arrow but you might break a few more than the hunting ones.
@aanderson66 The 7595s are a .340 spine if I’m not mistaken? I had someone from GoldTip suggest I use one of their target arrows for hunting. What’s the difference between the two? Hunting vs. Target arrows that is.
that’s crazy because I did the same thing with starting out at 60lbs then I quicky was pulling 70 back. I bought the gold tip 7595 pro hunters when I turned the poundage up. they tuned perfect for me all the way from 65 to 70lbs. I see gander mountain has them for around 40 or 50 dollars. tough to beat that when my shop sells them for 79 for a half dozen.
@aanderson66:Thanks for the tip! I started off at 60lbs with these arrows. It was harder to pull back at 1st having never really shot a bow, but when you shoot all the time you quickly build up to 70lbs. I did paper tune with the .400 @ 60/70 lbs and shot perfect bullet holes at each weight, but like you said I bet I am losing a lot of energy on launch due to the shaft flexing. I’ll post an update after I get the new arrows.
You use a video editor like “Sony Vegas Video Pro” If you have that program you use a CTRL+drag function to extend the clip.
shoot some broadheads on there and i bet they dont tune. you are underspined if you are shooting a .400 spine arrow from a 70 lbs z7 at 30 inch draw. your only getting 306 because you have weight on the string and I would bet you are losing energy to an underspined arrow. I started shooting the day after thanksgiving and bought the same bow and the shop sold me the same arrow. except my draw is 28 and i was underspined and pissed when i found out when i put a broadhead on

Considering it the my 1st compound bow and I’m fairly new to archery…I love it.
I tried the Reezen, Monster, and a couple of other Mathews bows at a pro shop, but it was my friends DXT that got me started.
I found the Z7 to have pretty smooth draw and shoots great.
You will enjoy yours. I really like the single pin site vs. multiple pins.

Hi, does anyone know how to change Red Brick Abilities in this game? I have unlocked a couple but I can’t seem to change it from Engorgio Skullus- when I cycle to the next one it doesn’t change. Pressing the L button just switches menus. Any help?

for the ds this game is alright but why is it so bad for psp tt is lazy the other lego games on psp were very cool but now it sucks semms like is getting bad .

@KohanFilms1 Yes, but you have to unlock them in each level, the truth is that it was kind of difficult for me to find the charaters in “history mode”, It is easier to get them all in FREE PLAY.
