Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D | [EXTENDED] trailer Nintendo 3DS (2011)
from the press release Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has announced details of its first titles for the new Nintendo 3DSTM handheld system for release across Europe. The publisher has confirmed its support for the new hardware with four new titles, including the Hideo Kojima-developed Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater; a new Pro Evolution Soccer title; classic run’n'gun shooter, Contra and perennial favourite, Frogger . Interest in all four titles is already soaring following their overseas announcement, and KONAMI will be releasing further information on the four titles in the coming months. “We are delighted to confirm that KONAMI has four major titles in development for Nintendo’s 3DS system,” offered Kunio Neo, President for Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH. “The chance to explore popular franchises such as Metal Gear Solid, Pro Evolution Soccer, Contra and Frogger within a 3D realm is an exciting opportunity, and we cannot wait to share more news in the coming months.”

@krone900 ….Besides they are pushing MGS Rising for this so knowing Kojima he is giving his best for this game so it won’t disapoint. This is the man that originally promise us that MGS3 is going to be on the PS3 as a lanuch title but we forgave him because of how much MGS3 kicked ass even though it was on PS2

@krone900 Since most of these idiots can’t give you a straight answer, most likely they don’t know or they or just being obvious jerk-offs. So to at least give you my thoughts of what can be different, I believe or rather hope Kojima’s production team is at least is going to do what they did to MGS Twin Snakes they give remake it using the MGS2 engine and give it more control, in this one I hope that they would improve and give us more and better CQC attacks and weapons….

I completed Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater for PS2 on the extreme difficulty with no alerts, no continues, no kills and no life medicine used. Also I collected all the weapons including The Patriot, Mosin Nagant and Single Action Army and I have The Pain’s, The Fear’s, The End’s (Moss 100% Camo), The Fury’s, Colonel Volgin’s and The Joy’s/The Boss’s camouflage uniforms and I got Stealth Camouflage.
MGS 3 Snake Eater is my favourite out of all the MGS series.

Man this is more like movie, there is no gameplay, you just move to see another cutscene. They focused just on 3D, not on the actual gameplay.
i just hope it’ll have co-op so you can play with others online or against one another like with peace walker combined with ad hoc party, this is probably gonna be the only reason why im getting the 3DS and kingdom hearts 3D.
and to all those arguing about the graphics. This game has more shaders applied, that being the only difference. However, the PS2 has a higher resolution -so graphical power isn’t an issue. Less resolution, more shaders- they sacrificed one thing to gain another so in my eyes they have the same graphics.

@dunnono00 Yet the NES single-handedly pulled the industry out of the pits of mediocrity? The market was pretty much dead.. Most toy stores were doing everything they could to remove any video game. It wasn’t until Nintendo came along and turned a so called fad into a multi-billion dollar industry we know today.
I’m no fanboy, but I think it would be safe to say that if it wasn’t for Nintendo, the industry wouldn’t be where it is today.

Yeah, upon further study and consideration, I realize that Sega had a console in the early 80′s that was SEVERELY ahead of its time. The graphics and gameplay looked to be the best anyone had at the time. It’s just too bad it didn’t take off.

That’s probably a step too far. At the end of the day, this is a multi-billion dollar industry that rivals Hollywood. Something like this doesn’t stay dead because of one company, no matter how great they may be. I truly believe that if Nintendo didn’t exist, someone else would have stepped up. There are always passionate men and women burning with ideas somewhere in this world, and gaming itself was always more than just the Nintendo brand.
Atari and all those systems past i have always considerd like the great grand father of games lol probably not the best comparason. The game industry crashes for a bit in the us then incomes nintendo which in a since i always thought kinda recharged a battery that went dead for a kinda thought of nintendo as the father. Of course there have always been games but i often wonder what direction the game industry would have gone if nintendo was never even thought of. Long live old g4
