The DSi is the 3rd version of the Nintendo DS handheld and is set for release in Japan of November this year, just in time for Christmas 2008. This new, svelte dual-screen portable was announced at a Nintendo Co. Ltd. press event. The DSi is said to launch in Europe in the spring of 2009

i was thinking of buying the dsi xl mostly for watching movies on it (also i would like to try the dsiware)

I liked the DS more… my niece had an DSi, it’s okay I guess… and Just a week ago or something, my dad traded in my DS for the DSi XL.(WITH OUT MY CONSENT!!). the big screen is awesome, but now, I can’t play my gameboy games on it, nor can I play Guitar Hero, which sucks…majorly.. But I guess the web access makes up for it……maybe

@TweakPro yeah i thought i broke my black ds by dropping it cause the front of it was slippery and it still worked and i got my blue ds i dropped it a couple times but not my dsi
i got a black ds, a blue ds and a light blue dsi and on ds you have action replay theres cheat codes on there where you could do stuff that you can`t do without it and i love dsi i have a sd card for dsi and i took 458 pictures i have 50 pictures of my dsi sd card and i like both and they both have browser like you have internet so good review and awesome so when i was 15 i had a ds and now im 18 its very cool man awesome review ds was offline but then it went back on also COOL and AWESOME
ok look don’t be confused, i hate that people say the DSI is an upgrade, it’s a different console with backwards compatibility (regular ds games)
it has it’s own library which are the dsi exclusive games, is not like the psp go which IS an upgrade
has different ram and processor stop looking at it like an upgrade please

That is a lie. But whatever you say. I’m not trying to argue with you. Even if that’s true, you still can’t play games from other regions. Your DS Lite did not break after one fall. And if it did, then it was faulty and you should of called Nintendo Support. And who the hell drops a DSi ‘tens of times’? You must be reckless with your stuff. I’ve had my DS Lite for a few years, so a drop or two is inevitable.
the dsi is way more sturdier i droped my dsi tens of times and it still works perfect but i dropped my ds lite from something around 30 cm and it broke

i gettin white dsi for easter i was going to get the xl but i figured extra money just for bigger screens . NOT WORTH IT. besides the ds 2 will be out in a year or 2
