Nintendo DSi XL Dazzles With Sizable Screens
Nintendo’s latest version of the DS gaming console features screens nearly twice as large as the DSi. Though its a bit heavier and bulkier, the DSi XL’s larger pixels and screens provide a more clear gaming experience than its predecessor.

Just like with the PSP’s UMD movies having a higher resolution than the PSP screen, Allot of DS games have a natural resolution that was allways bigger than the original screen size on the DS phat and lite, so anybody thinking big screens isn’t worthwhile because it will “look grainy” think again! i like the fact that it’s more about personal preference.
Everybody listen up, the Xtra Large does not have problems with blown up screen resolution, everything looks beautiful, apparently it’s just Text that is noticeably blurry, but everything looks sharp and unanti aliased
Spirit Tracks and New Super Mario bro’s are 2 games i’ve tried on a 3DS you actually get a bigger viewing area of the area surrounding both Link and Mario,
on Wikipedia a Nintendo spokesperson mentioned that they had allways wanted bigger screen sizes, and they planned ahead.
I bet they will also release a 3DS XL in late 2011 or 2012.

I’ve tried a XL at stores, games look very clear, there’s no noticeable anti aliasing or degraded quality, except Text that’s said to look blurred slightly, but everything else is fine.
It’s probably because DS games are at a bigger resolution than the DSI screens,
as if Nintendo planned to introduce bigger screens which according to wikipedia report they did, like how UMD movies have a resolution for TV’s and not just PSP

The screen resolution actually looks pretty sharp games look good on it and not blurry or choppy.

I probably should have paid the extra 50 bucks for the XL but the Eye was so cheap at the time, this store was having a clearance sale, and it was available with my favorite color!
Still got the color of caked blood and poop available for the XL here, no midnight blue yet.
Strange how the bronze is depicted as brown, but it actually looks quite silver with a dark grey color for the screen sides.

@IletrikBJ131225 yea! i had the lite for 2-3 years now and after playing a while 20-50 minutes my eyes started to hurt but that havent hppened one single time since i bought the xl (ok i ve only had the xl for 1 and a half day now XD i know but you understand what i mean, dont you?)
