Size The DSi XL measures 161 x 91.4 x 21.2 mm (6.34 x 3.6 x 0.83″), 1.61x the total volume of the DSi, and 1.48x the volume of the DS Lite. It weighs 314 grams, compared to the DSi’s 214g and the DS Lite’s 218g. Screens The screens are 4.25 inches diagonal. For comparison, the DSi’s screens measure 3.25 inches, and the DS Lite’s screens are 3 inches. As it is only a minor hardware revision, there is no reason to believe that the resolution will change from 256×192 pixels per screen. The reason for the larger screens is mainly attributed to allowing easier play on games that feature small text and precision gameplay. Another reason, according to Nintendo president Satoru Iwata, is “to offer a new play style, where those who are surrounding the game player can also join in one way or the other to the gameplay.” Colors- The Japanese version will launch in four colors: Wine Red, Dark Brown, Lime Green, and Natural White. No announcements have been made regarding color for any other region. Included software Preloaded on the internal memory: the DSi Browser, Flipnote Studio, Brain Age Express: Arts & Letters, Brain Age Express: Math, Dsi speak channel, and Meikyou Kokugo Rakubiki Jiten, a dictionary program. it’s not horrible, look at the people holding it, it doesn’t look huge, just bigger. Besides people that use a laptop never say “its a hassle to store” And it comes with original stylus, so it won’t be uncomfortable. THIS IS BETTER. Now you don’t have to squint to read the tiny words.

It’s too bad though, when the 3DS launches, DSi’s and XL’s will definitely be gone. I’m starting to save up money, but I’m keeping my DSi. It has all the pictures of my friends from Middle School that I miss so dearly.

by’s oh by’s! I have a dsi xl and i had it for at least almost a month now and it’s the best system i ever played, sure it’s big but it is amazing. almost everybody in my town has one now. there the top rated, and the screens and stylus aint too big the resolution is the same as the dsi.

I guaranty everyone here who’s a gamer, this is much worse than the DSi or DS lite, if you use your DS for things besides gaming its probably not so bad, but if your going to be gaming mobile ,this is horrible, its size makes it a hassle to store, the size of the stylus is going to feel very uncomfortable , and jsut the sheer size is going to make it uncomfortable to play
my mom says I should get this instead of a normale DSi , but I think its too big

the story mode is fun and the mini games
this super mario 64 but with different characters and they only add minigames some new things like mega mushroom fire yoshi ,metal wario, ghost luigi and fat mario flying into air and wing mario a little bit of new places and the gayeest part you have to spin bowser with the stick at the bottom screen and a room that has shit in it and the way yoshi really is the hero is that saved everyone from their picture frams but only one cake rip off and i liked the game but i kind of wasted money
The DS has better graphics, then the 64 version.
they tried to keep the graphics as similar as possible but still the ds version is a tad better.

The voices sound different, though. Instead of “Woo, Hoo-hoo!”, it is “Wah, Mah!” I do not like that. Yoshi’s old voice was also better, and the Yoshi’s Story voice sucks. I have nothing against Luigi or Wario’s voices.
