Nintendo eReader Review

Twitter: twitter.com Facebook: www.facebook.com 2nd Channel: www.youtube.com In this video I review the Nintendo eReader addon for the Game Boy Advance. The eReader was an accessory that allowed you to scan dot codes from various types of cards directly on your GBA which unlocked hidden content when connected to another Game Boy Advance or GameCube, displayed information or unlocked original NES and brand new minigames for the eReader. The eReader sold well in Japan however it did poorly in the United States and was never fully released in Europe. It is compatible with the Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Advance SP, Game Boy Player for Nintendo Gamecube and the Nintendo DS Lite.

When I got this, I was thinking how the heck do you use this? Until, I found out, why there are 3 cards that came with it. Its pretty cool that you can launch a mini game through cards rather than a cartridge. And in fact, I still have my eReader lying around somewhere.

Scan the cards like the 3DS can do for the virtual reality things now? Using special cards to create fun effects? For sure, it’s technically reinstated again!
