Personally i prefer the older generations i.e Yellow, Silver and Gold (the remakes imo are quite amazing though), i didn’t mind Black and White, Ruby/Sapphire and Emerald were also very very good in the story department and overall game play, but Silver and Gold are always going to be my favorite regardless, might not be as nice and polished as the new ones but they had a better flow to them, just my opinion, although i’m really looking forward to see if they actually do make the R/S remakes =).
I’m actually amazed at how Pokemon evolved since the old Game Boy days. Remember when the battle screen didn’t even have a background, just two Pokemon, and two health bars, and the speech bar? Now, the battle screen’s camera moves around, which I find really cool.

pokemon black and white are considerably the best so far. my friends says it sucks even when they didn’t play the game. they also said how the pokemon looked ugly and didn’t want to catch all the pokemon again. but they never talked about the improved gameplay. someone should talk some sense into them.
i love the older pokemon games, (like everything before ruby and sapphire) but i feel like this game is way too extreme with the battle scenes. for example: the game constantly zooms in and out of the pokemon when they preform an attack, seems like its too much for me to handle haha.. But the concept of the game is the same so I might attempt it.

the wild pokemons appear too freakin fast in black and white… its annoying….
In truth, for the most part, I wasn’t surprised the game that the game turned out like this. This is how Nintendo gets us and it is simply genius. Many of us like to keep up with our friends and play the games for how they are, their core versions, without the updated rerelease. For now, that’s what we have in B/W. Come time for them to give us our update, and it’ll likely blow the shell off of B/W. Same as Plat did to D/P, and any remakes have done to the originals. Personally, I can’t wait.

Aren’t we practically doing the same by ‘petting’ animals? The only reason we don’t pet every single animal we like is because some of them are not tamable, special or dangerous. Plus there’s more to the actual motive, so in the end it comes down to the same thing. So to me, the story is not pimped up much, it just seems that way because it’s a different approach from earlier games. Not to mention that they contradict themselves. Basically they’re manipulated tools.
Am I the only one bothered by the lack of purpose behind the 3D effects and pans used for camera angles used. It’s like: “Hey look we made a nice bridge in 3d! check it outt448w7!” The pokemon, though mostly ugly, are okay. Their main concern is how easy it is to play; how there are no charismatic characters at all. The only ‘badass’ was ‘n’ who you beat like what, four times? And Adel, who got beat by the guy you beat 4 times. I can go on and on, but really, so far, who shares my thoughts?
the game is really small and not much to do, platinum, diamond and pearl are the best

i don’t really like the 3d kinda look. I mean i’m fine with some of it 3d but more than half? Just no. and personally i saw some of the new pokemon and i went WTF!? When they made Arceues you wouldn’t know how angry i was! It said mew was thought to create all pokemon Then Arceues comes along and says IM DEH GAWD OF ALL POKEMONZ! ( bad spelling on purpose) But that’s just my opinion. No one ever listens to 11 year olds anyways.
i may only be 11 but i been playing pokemon since i was 5 years old. I played Pokemon Firered awhile ago. ( couldn’t get my damn Blastoise to beat 1 of the elite four) i would try for freaking hours to beat that guy. but nvm about that. I played alot of pokemon games. i played every Mystery Dungeon games, Pokemon pearl, Pokemon Diamond, Pokemon Platinum, Pokemon soul Silver, and Pokemon Heart gold. But Pokemon Black and white just doesn’t look that good to me. I don’t really like the 3d kinda lo
