Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver crashing (Usa version) FINALY fixed for R4!!!!
Me showing my newly patched Heart gold ROM in action! This video contains at least 50 “events” (talking to people, entering/exiting buildings, battles, saving, etc) It has been tested that before this patch, a player with 0 badges will experience a crash every 25 events. Some cards never experienced the crashes, but R4 (and all its SDHC clones) did. Download links: (NOTE: sorry for the weird file names. I think megaupload keeps deleting the ROMS cuz of the file names. random names should keep them from finding out that the files insides the zips are pretty much illegal.) It is 12:31AM where I am at. I have to go to school in a little more than 6 hours. I am supposed to be asleep. If my mom catches me up I will be grounded from DS, phone, computer, wii, TV and just about everything else that is remotely fun. The bathroom is the safest place i could go at the time of recording without getting caught awake. Thank you for understanding!

Where does it say it is patched from JAP to ENG? I thought I made it pretty clear that this was the USA release of the games.
Regardless, I would recommend the English version. I am sure the Japanese version would work, but if you cannot read the language, it is pointless to try because you would not be able to understand it. If you can read Japanese, by all means try it out. However, I have used the English version and it works perfectly.

Just one last question… Im really not a big fan of Pokesav,but if I wanted to use it sometime,should I use a English or Japanese pokesav? Im confused since on the descriptions says that its parched from Jap to Eng so ,just wondering.

YEs you can. Just rename the .sav to the name of the .NDS file

@mrrandomguy98 Copy everything on your R4 card into another file on your computer. remove everything from your R4 card. Download the latest Wood firmware put that into the root of your R4 card. Then just take the game files from your computer and put those into a game folder on your R4 card. It shoudl in theory work after you’ve done that. If it doesn’t the only other thing I can think of is you don’t have an original R4 card. Which one do you have?
@Alicaint i got wood and all it did wuz give me a different backround. i still get the same problem.
@mrrandomguy98 Back up your files and get the latest Wood firmware. You’ll loose your saves but it means you’ll be able to play all the new stuff. If you need anymore info’, PM me.
@Alicaint is the firmware the kernel, becuz i have 1.18, the newest one. and if its not whut is the firmware
@mrrandomguy98 You need to update the firmware on your r4 card then.
Does this crash after the 4th gym badge? That one kinda ticked me off because it was quite far into the game…
