Pokémon Platinum – Checking for 31 IVs (Also for HeartGold and SoulSilver)
Revealing 31 IVs in Pokémon Platinum (and HeartGold & SoulSilver) What you will need: – One Nintendo DS/Lite/i – One Pokémon PLATINUM, HEARTGOLD, or SOULSILVER version game card In the Battle Frontier, go to the Battle Tower and there will be a man with glasses (the one closest to the PC). If you talk to him he’ll reveal how high the IV of a one of your Pokémon will be. IF the Pokémon has 31 IVs in a stat he will say: “Incidently, I would say the best potential lies in its ______ stat. It can’t be better in that regard. That’s how I judged it.” Let’s say you have a Starmie with 31 IVs in Speed and Special Attack. You have to talk to him TWICE and he will reveal the two stats. The first time you talk to him, he will say: “Incidently, I would say the best potential lies in its Speed stat. It can’t be better in that regard. That’s how I judged it.” And the second time you talk to him, he will say: “Incidently, I would say the best potential lies in its Special Attack stat. It can’t be better in that regard. That’s how I judged it.” But the order might be different. He might reveal Special Attack first and the second time reveal Speed. If you talk to him a more than twice, he will REPEAT one of the already mentioned stats (assuming only two stats have 31 IVs). So if you have a Pokémon that has four stats with 31 IVs, you’ll need to talk to him four times and he’ll reveal the stats one at a time. Just remember he must say “It can’t be better in that regard” because 31 is the …

pretty sure you used pokesav, if you got the egg legit it would say recieved from the day-care couple, not “Solaceon Town” … cheater
Also you could just collect some rare candies from 3 games if you played that much and level it up before soft resetting

iv had above 31 ivs. i had a level 100 mew and the stats where higher than recordedly high! the game crashed when i talked to him. he went i see i see… and it crashed
@yourtube1234567 Wrong. If they say its fantastic instead of can’t be better, then it means your pokemon has below 31 IVs.
will this work if you have 3 or more 31 ivs?
its not all 31 ivs it has to say outstanding potential for it to have 31…if he says decent potential or above average potential then u know its highest iv is less than 31
it wont tell if 31 ivs it only tells the highest iv

“this pokemon’s potential is above average overall. That’s my jdgment, and it’s final. Incidentally, I would say the best potential lies in its Hp. It’s fantastic in that regard. That’s how I judged it.” so do my pokmeon have all 31 stats?

@n3rdycow you actually can do it in HeartGold and SoulSilver, the guy is standing on the very same place so you can easily find him and talk to him.
can’t you do this on heart gold and soul silver
