@TheFaisalano I agree that Ubisoft abandoned POP for Assassin’s Creed. I always prefered POP though because the platforming felt more real. In Assassins Creed all you do is hold the right trigger and go, it does it all for you. POP always felt less on auto and more challenging, thus rewarding.
No offense too any PoP fan, but Ubisoft kinda left PoP behind and Assassin’s Creed is taking over (Note: I like both, but I prefer AC, but It dosnet mean they should ditch PoP imo)
@gigidumbrava no T2T was better
@b00mYou you should play then POP is awesome
I never played any of the PoP games, but I don’t see them going back to the old combat system. Pop: TFS uses a heavily modified Assassin’s Creed engine, and from what I can tell, is very much similar to Assassin’s Creed. Anyone who has played both games will probably notice a lot of simularities.
Now, I haven’t played PoP: TFS so I can’t say whether this is completely true or not — but after had played Assassin’s Creed, this is he impression I get with PoP: TFS.
holy, this buddy wishes he was part of gametrailers….
@gigidumbrava damn straight
The biggest question from me is why did Ubisoft ditch the combat mechanics from WW and TT? It was almost as fun as platforming. The 2008 POP 1v1 combat SUCKED (still a good game) and this game looks slow and clumsy.
Good review. I didn’t like the combat system of this game. WW and TT had the best POP combat. If Ubisoft makes another POP, I am hoping they will bring the combat back.
This game was shyt, no doubt the price dropped so damn quick.
Good review,
I ordered the CE for 18 euros, sweet deal if I say it myself :_P
@slipknotcrazy100
cuz god of war didn’t steal anything from other games right?
Very thorough and articulate review. Thanks a lot for sharing your opinion.
bit to many button thrashing clips zzzzz
HEY! they stole the bird to bird thing from god of war! 3:50
hey chris did you notice you’re going bald.
i wish they would make a new prince of persia with the worrior within fighting system and gore thats what made me fall in love with the franchise, but this game in my opinion this is miles better that the prince of persia that was all like cartoony a few years ago. but the fighting system in this is good
@pspman11 i know what you mean but in the sands of time, he fights with his army on this the prince stumbles apon his brothers kingdom being attacked. but i know what you mean
Target has this game on sale for only $20 I think I will pick it up.
alot of games are using ssao in their graphics.
this game is well good
@crazy00metal it between sands of time and warrior within
