I don’t understand why DS is for kids. DS has Castlevania, GTA Chinatown Wars, Shin Megami Tensei, Advance Wars, Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, The Legend of Zelda. and I seriously think Pokemon is not for kids. It seems kiddy by its graphics and gaming style, but when you play Pokemon deep inside, it’s more complicated than any other RPGs

rite for the ds they make cod. but i have both of these devices. My complate is that i want call of duty on my psps because it will have more quality in the game. I dont no about u but i would pay 78 bucks or something to get it

@KyuubiNaruto1337XD Exactly. The fact that games are good are only a matter of opinion. More people want a DS, which makes it the dominant console even in review scores)
@thewierdoman its a matter of supply and demand, the demand of the PS2 was effected by the elasticity of its demand. the gamecube only lead sales through 2004, the PS2 reigned after that until 2005 when Xbox took theatre and then the next generation consoles came out

If I recall, Nintendo has clearly stated their games are intended for everyone (which they are). If PSP was really good, why isn’t it crushing DS in sales? This does prove one thing. It proves you fanboys don’t have the education to admit when you’re wrong.
@thewierdoman No thats common logistics, Nintendo has aimed at kids for years, this is no exception, and sales does not prove one is better than the other in the first place, so your argument is invalid

@thewierdoman only because DS is a popular, inexpensive kids hand held that is moderatly manufactured, graphics and sound are not a priority to kids, as there are more kid buyers (parents) than PSP buyers which is a more advanced and expensive console
you don’t know economics from the start, more people are going to buy more at a lesser price, and less at a higher price
I don’t care what anyone says, PSP is a great media device,yes. But is a very poor excuse of a video game system. The ONLY good games on the console are Final Fantasy, God of War, and Kingdom Hearts. The DS has gotten countless reviews for games scoring over 9.0, I would say prolly about 30 + games have easily hit that score. From horrible loading times to perhaps maybe 5 games scoring 9 or up, PSP is a fancy looking media device, and nothing more.

I disagree with durability. I know plenty of people who have broken their DSi and DS Lite (see: hinges). The PSP does show scratches badly, but despite its fragile looks and feel, it is extremely durable. I keep it on a shelf 7 feet from a hard wood floor because I sleep on a bunk bed. It has fallen dozens of times and the only thing that happened was the bumpers got cracked, but still function and stay intact, merely a non preformance dehancng fracture. The games suck, but all else is good.
@TheGirafee You’re right, the storylines of such DS titles as Last Window, GTA Chinatown Wars, Dementium and Hotel Dusk are totally child-oriented. I should run out and get a PSP to take in the adult fare of such mature titles as Loco Rocco, ModNation or every bland pretentious turn-based RPG the platform has to offer.
ds games are for babies! psp has the mature games like god of war and GTA who wants to play mario anyway!
