Sonic – a Nintendo DS 3D Game Project
A DS Homebrew Project by: Ritz Here’s what he has to say “sonic is the development name for my homebrew nintendo ds 3d game project. some notable features include skeletal animation, static & dynamic point lights, shadow volumes, skyboxes, picking, gravity and object & environment collision detection. in the near future i will build the game logic, ai, scripting and i hope to include an interactive 3d map builder for easy world creation and object & creature placement” – Ritz Official Project Site Link: www.daftcode.net

sonic?
yea, well he might have some graphics….but no enemy detection. and missing other game play (he can only use right arm and leg for attack). so by time he gets more “action” he’s gonna run out of memory and need to -back off- on his grafx’s considerably.
Check out the “pimp walking”, starting at 2:23 hahaha
One of the best homebrew games ever made. Better than 90% of retail ds games. lol
omg whatever happened to poor sonic
sonic ? ha I was looking for the blue hedgehog !
if anyone out there knows what program besides Atlais to use to script .nds files please tell me! oh btw this 3D artwork looks so cool!
@longeke – dude, ppl r gonna think this is SOnic the Hegehog!! giv this game a different game or else ur gonna get bad comments
adacowan u stupid fuck. did u hear what u just said? how the fuck can u make a game with windows movie maker ???!!! ya dumbass…
Omg, it’s looks twice as good as ANY other 3d game on the ds!
The draw distance is short, but you won’t notice that anyway.
Now why the fuck can’t big name devs produce these kind of graphics???
neverwinter nights 1 lol
boooooooooring but i realllly do want the 3DS. that guy just probably made it on his computer with windows movie maker!!
what has this got to do with sonic??
Dude, if you stayed tuned on gbatemp.net you would know its a port from some other console to the Nintendo DS. There’s even a playable demo + source avaible.
if you need an actor i could totally help you
very nicely done sir!
1996 called, they want their PC game back
Very impressive but the view distance is horrible.
Change the development name please your confusing alot of people lol
@TheLeetobix If you look at the background in this video it is constantly loading as you near the area. On the Nintendo Wii you can see all the background in the area… No loading when you near the object.
@SalvationStudios1 what do you mean
@TheLeetobix Umm… the Nintendo Wii has the background fully loaded when you walk around though.
@SalvationStudios1 ofc he would have to change the name but this is really good and it will run on 3ds because of the 3ds graphics are just behind the wii
@TheLeetobix I’m pretty sure Nintendo wouldn’t be happy to see someone making a name called “Sonic.”
