Yes, I’m surprised that they gave this game a high score.

IGN is afraid to give anything Sonic related a good score, so its scary that it got a high score this time around.

  8. AllStarKingD says:

i would give it a 9.5 really im serious its not only difficulty cause its not all that hard you have checkpoints you know, and when you restart a level what do you wanna do start at the last checkpoint? seriously so yeah i it deservs 9.5 :)

  9. lord1234title says:

@SpadesOfDarkness45 oh forgot it had 8.5 not 8.0 i was remembering another review

    >Complaining about difficulty

This is what’s wrong with reviewers these days. God forbid there’s a smidge of challenge in a game. When they rate a game perfectly, and tell you that the difficulty is just right, always assume it is in fact, piss easy.

  11. terrificTBO says:

@terrificTBO btw the continue system and difficulty is your fault for sucking just think about what you encounter faster and you can master sonic bro. I give this installment a 10 just for overall presentation and the fact sonics attitude is back.

  12. terrificTBO says:

This will be the first game I’ve bought both versions of since red and blue back in the 90′s way to go sega keep reaching for the stars and remember the possibilities are never ending ^_^

  13. SpadesOfDarkness45 says:

@lord1234title No it’s not. The Wii version still got an 8.5. I just checked.

  18. xaioFTW says:

oh, and btw, i beat the game that friday also. i could’ve beat it thursday, but i had a D, and five C’s, and i wanted to go out with Bs, As, and Ses…

  19. xaioFTW says:

ROFL, i’m not complaining, but the fact that it’s dumb easy to earn lives is a major plus, so noone should even run out. i’ve had 99 lives since the friday of the week it was released in america.

  20. lord1234title says:

wow 8.5? that .5 more points then the wii version.

  21. MotherPunker970 says:

i think that in every game when u ran out of lives its game over and start from the beggining of the game,or start from the beggining of a lvl so thats nothing strange…but if he meant lose a life and start from beggining of the lvl, then that sucks…

  22. heydera1 says:

So when you run out of lives you start again?
    YOU DON’T SAY!!

  23. djgalven says:

If you can play through Sonic Rush with ease, or at least losing minimal lives, you /will not game over/. I went through the game, playing either horribly on some later stages or amazingly on some of the earlier ones, and I beat the game with at least 30+ lives in stock. This game is challenging on the missions, but if you’re about to fail, just pause and hit restart: No penalty to it at all.

My own score for the game is about the same, though, so this review works. :3
