Supercard Mini SD Guide/FAQ ( 5 / 6 )
This is a video guide I made for the Supercard Mini SD version. I think this same method applies to other versions of the Slot-2 Supercards. It took me a while to do this video, because my video editors were giving me a hard time. But finally I was able to complete it. I divided the video into 6 parts because of the time/size limiting for each video. I would have made less parts but there were a lot to explain and I wanted to show how to do the basic stuff everyone can do when they get a Supercard. At some parts of the video, there are a lot of vioce breakdowns, mainly because the screen capture program I was using gave me a lot of problems. These are the HotKeys (Shortcuts) for the Supercard functions: Reset back to Menu L + R + Select + Start Real Time Save/Load (only used for GBA games) L + R + Select + B Normal Save (only used in GBA games for saving your game progress) L + R + Select + A Real Time Text Reader (only used in GBA games, only if you added a TXT file when patching) L + R + Start + B Cheat Code Menu (only used for GBA games, only if you enabled cheats when patching) L + R + Start + A WebPages… NEW SITE!! I already have a video explaining how to upgrade Firmwares. However, I cannot show you how to update old firmware cause I have no old cards in hand plus I cannot downgrade mine.
But if you watch the video I basically explain that you have to upgrade in sequence in order to maintain emulator funcionality.
never mind, I found out mine is V1.63
But instruction to upgrade firmware is sketcy.

I have bought a old supercard miniSD… but it does not play NES rom? Does it means that it need the latest firmware & solfware? How do I tell my current FW & SW ?

I think that with the proper video Codecs on your PC, the program will read .AVI and .MPEG videos.
Limit on the video will depend on your SD card size.
Obviously if you have a 1 GB card, do not expect to put a 2GB video on it.
is there a format the video file has to be in before you convert it? is there a limit on how long it can be?
Hmm, I’ve never seen that msg before. Odd are your program is corrupted or you are missing a Video/Audio codec or driver.
Try re-installing and see if it works. If not, install video and audio codecs to see if it fixes your prob.
Try Community Codec Pack o K-lite Mega Codec pack.
when i click “browse…” in Movie Converter/Music Converter, it says “Cannot load driver” and “Run-time error 68 Device unavailable”. what’s wrong? i’m using winXP sp3

for converting to gba video u can use also program called “meteo”
for converting to gba video u can use also GBA Tool Advance
OK people. The link for the program is down. The web page in this video was taken down and now there is no proper place to find this program anymore. I’m trying to find a workaround to this problem, since I don’t have this program with me. For now try to Google search for GBA Media Converter 1.3 and see if can find the program. I’ll post back when I find a solution for this.
