(TAS) Tetris DS: Standard Mode 200 Lines Marathon cleared in under 2 minutes
****READ HERE FIRST BEFORE WATCHING & COMMENTING***** This is a TEST VERSION of a TAS run on Tetris DS. It starts from power on (starts for the very first time without any data saved, eg high scores). It can be improved easily if you watch it very slowly. Good examples of improvement are as follow: *Get 50 Tetrises (4 lines cleared… 50 times) *Work out how to manipulate each piece * Get Tetris clears on the middle during levels 15-20. * One of the 2 by 2 blocks on level 15 (Ice Climber background) wasn’t “instant dropped” but it could manipulate luck. The title says it’s under 2 minutes because the Main Game Starts at around 0:14 -0:16 and the 200th line clear occurs around 2:03 meaning it took around 1 minute and 49 seconds = 109 seconds, that’s nearly 2 lines cleared per second. This tool-assisted speedrun, played by me (GREENALINK) This movie was made on an emulator, with frame-by-frame shooting, savestates and rerecords. It is NOT meant to show skill; it is ONLY supposed to provide entertainment. Therefore, any anti-TAS comments will be deleted instantly, and the poster will be permanently blocked. The tools like Frame advance improves the input precision. Save states are backups incase you made an mistake (sort of like an animation).

Does the tool speed up the gameplay or what? i dont get it tbh…
I’m thinking of buying DS Tetris for my mother. One thing I haven’t been able to find out: does it let you choose the song? She just wants it to repeat the classic Russian one.

AWESOME FUCKING RUN! I remember once I played one endless mode for 3 weeks straight (I put it in sleep mode when I got bored) I got to about 9800 lines, on level 981, with about 40 million points. I opened it up one day and it said “The DS card has been removed. Please turn your DS off and put in the DS card” or something like that. I got so mad that I Threw my DS at the wall. That’s how I got my DSi

I don’t know if I could clear 200 lines that fast, but I still like to consider myself a Tetris God; not being a jerk or anything like that, I just love the game. Great video!
