The show is great. I really hope it’s not canceled. That freakin’ Harry’s Law or whatever it’s called, came back and now The Cape doesn’t have a night to air it’s next episode. :(

  4. KaiserJames says:

I really like the show, BTW. I really hope it isn’t cancelled prematurely. Maybe another channel will pick it up?

  5. KaiserJames says:

How could you miss the mask part? He made up a mask to wear in the second part of the two hour premiere!

I think you should change your opinion about this show… In the last episode the little boy said “THAT WAS TOTALLY RAD!”. Maybe they saw your review. I personally think its a great show!

I have to admit the show got to the point of awesomeness at episode 4. The pilot was good and episode 3 was good but 4 is my all time favorite episode! Chess is my favorite villain and Peter Fleming is sooooo cool!

  8. barbaro267 says:

    JAMES FRAIN AT HIS BEST!

  9. barbaro267 says:

best show ever…too bad it got canceled before they could make the last 3 episodes (supposed to tell us Orwell’s back story)

and you are bashing a show on its second episode. its sell out think you know it all excuse for critics bad hair middle age losers like you that make me wanna vomit. you suck

  11. acooleryear says:

You guys are idiots. it keeps it simple has great action sequences, a great story line, and unique villans. You have no idea what you are talking about your just three jag offs trying to sound smart on the Internet. Between you three you have D list movies, failed TV series, and a couple Key Grip jobs. At least The Cape is on a major network.

@jomos100 That’s exactly like asking Youtube to listen to its users and keep the old homepage. It’s not possible.

I wasn’t expecting to like “The Cape”, but I likes it!

  14. jomos100 says:

the only thing this show is missing is a hot girl that knows alot about movies and videogames and has a sense of humor

  15. yossieven says:

    Firefly, Babylon 5, farscape
all good series that weren’t supported enough.

@Dimsonny Yep, Dan3.0 was a let down, but he is still doing well. He has mostly mediocre videos now, but some rare good ones. I do agree that he should go back to the old format, but he has moved on, he can’t go back to his mom. I would like a mix of the old format and the new, the show would benifit.

what people need to understand is Hollywood (TV and Movies alike) sucks by default – and it’s a rare case of movies like the Godfather, Star Wars (the original 3) or shows like X-files, Lost or Walking Dead that really take a chance. And a lot of the time the really good shows just don’t get enough backing to become big hits. Remember execs thought Star Trek was going to be a failure – Hollywood sucks by default – and it is up to the few to make Hollywood Kick Ass!!!

This show is weak, watched Pilot, it was weak, gave it one more chance last night. Did not deliver. It’s character development is just to slow. “Powers” are boring, he flings a cape around and grabs things…come on ppl!!! NBC needs to give Marvel or DC some money and buy the rights to a real super hero and make it a live action show. This Cape crap is not going to do it. side note. I do like the girl that plays Orwell….always liked her characters in the shows she’s appeared in.

  19. cvette83 says:

Glad you guys reviewed the show. I wanted to know your thoughts on it. I was really disappointed by the show. I could not get past the bad story, IMO, and the even worse acting. Quit and deleted from dvr halfway through the second episode.

  20. gordthegeek says:

The Cape should’ve went in the “Greatest American Hero” direction. I also would’ve casted Dustin Diamond for the lead.

  21. TheWeskJago says:

it’s the “viper” of today’s TV. (anybody remember the show, viper?)

  22. DjHamHam411 says:

    Didnt like the Cape.
Loved Heroes up to Se: 1.
Smallville was awesome up to the 5-midway 6 season. Then it got WTF stupid.

  23. cansicc says:

Dan only saw the first episode. Nice.

  24. SupremeSunday says:

“Agent, what are you doing?!” “Agent, your killing civillians!” Yeah, always typecast.
