Wario Ware Do-It-Yourself – First Two Microgames

The following programme is a short demonstration of two microgames that I created in the latest installment of the highly-acclaimed “Wario Ware” series, “Wario Ware DIY.” I just bought this game yesterday and I’m already having fun experimenting with its tools and accessories. And surprisingly, in only a few hours, I have already learned most of the basics of microgame creation and have already successfully created two seperate microgames of my own! The first microgame is called “Sleepyhead” which uses an extremely simple control scheme. All you have to do is tap the character’s head to slap him awake – that’s all. Personally, I’m not entirely pleased with how this microgame turned out due to its simple control scheme and lack of challenge, but I consider this to be a good first attempt. The second microgame is called “Steel Eye” which uses a slightly more complex control scheme and even a broad difficulty range. Your primary objective is to locate and touch the red ball without accidentally touching any of the grey balls. If you touch any of the grey balls, you lose a life. For this microgame, I decided to create four different versions each with its own amount of grey balls. The higher the amount, the higher the difficulty. I also slightly changed the background and music for each version for easier distinguishing. To be honest, I am very impressed with how this microgame turned out even though there might be a few things that I can do for improvement. I am happy with
