WarioWare DIY – 18-Volt – Game Blender

WarioWare DIY Showcase is basically… a WiiWare download to showcase the microgames you made on the DS version of the game! You can also download Weekly Games, Big Name Games, and Theme Games which are freely available every week or so. This video shows the last of the four included, pre-made, microgame sets, “18-Volt”. His showcases Nintendo classics made into microgame form! I’ll show my first attempt at it, and then my last one – but I’ll skip ahead to the level I lost at in the first try! Notice how the enemy ships are Fronks/Shaggys? (The name was different in some games) He’s the funny lookin’ yellow guy who’s always nervous! 9-Volt’s pet, too. Speaking of 9-Volt, what’s up with the intermission movie sequence, here? It’s kinda… strange, but besides that, I haven’t got the “tap/click” function figured out. It seems that no matter what you do, he denies your handshake? Also the number of Fronks up top in these sequences seems to vary. Maybe after I try this again I can figure it out! [I may add more notes to this later - or you can help out in the comments by mentioning if you see any distinct increase in difficulty or if it's mostly "random"]

  2. LEGOSHALEpielol says:

    @WhiteKhakis Well thank you for the information. :)

  3. WhiteKhakis says:

    @LEGOSHALEpielol It comes with some new comics, music, and microgames, but it’s far fewer than a regular Warioware in total, and even less than the DS game, I believe. It’s mostly to “showcase” your games to people in your house, really. …and if you like to have the “complete” developer-made stuff. Not worth it besides that.

    BUT. You can use showcase to download/upload your games in a batch to/from the internet via your SD card. I explain this in another video of mine. That may be worth it.

  4. LEGOSHALEpielol says:

    I am a fan of Warioware, and I have twisted, inc, touched, and D.I.Y (DS)
    Is Showcase worth the money?

  5. XelchanTheBrave says:

    Aww, he just wants to make friends again with 9-Volt I guess ;3; but 9-Volt is being a dick here…

  6. ItzDaftPRODUCTIONS says:

  7. ChronoPlayer64 says:

  8. lolfreak21196 says:

    @AuntMinty thats what I heard too!

  9. puuvili says:

    I just noticed that the numbers are made of fronks :/

  10. GoliathGrowler says:

    @WhiteKhakis It looked to me like he was faking returning to WarioWare. Dialogue:

    18-Volt: Please return to WarioWare, Inc. Diamond Software is no place for you.

    9-Volt: Okay, I’ll come back. Psych!

  11. mariobrasil9 says:

  14. SamJamBamDam says:

    @yari015 Yes!

  15. yari015 says:

    @kingvideogames oh ok

  16. kingvideogames says:

    @yari015 Yeah that’s what I did.

  17. Yoshi7210 says:

    @kingvideogames that confused the hell out of me, but i guess so.

  18. yari015 says:

    can DS games be played in the DSi

  19. Snipertoaster says:

    @AuntMinty I think he aid “Focus!”

  20. kingvideogames says:

    @Yoshi7210 On the behalf on 9-volt, 18-volt made the stage, thus, making 9-volt the enemy, and figuring that 9-volt didn’t made 18-volt the enemy and he forgave 18-volt for breaking his game and watch, the jerkass goes to 18-volt.

  21. kingvideogames says:

    @WhiteKhakis On the behalf on 9-volt, 18-volt made this game, thus, 9-volt was the villain. AndI think that’s a retarted move on 18-volt’s part, figuring that 9-volt forgave him for breaking his game and watch. And in Warioware DIY, 9-volt didn’t made 18-volt the villain. So 18-volt took a leval in Jerkass.

  22. cookiefamilyof5 says:

    @majorsmask i think its galaga

  23. GThing64 says:

    @SuperNintendoGameboy I think now that 9-Volt left WarioWare, they’re rivals.

  24. TheGreenkirby100 says:

    @pokemewnic Make that 3!

  25. yuranto70 says:

    jerk is topgun

  26. MotorMII says:

    its a good game and its not to hard

  27. leeguitartaylor says:

    @zoeytocool

    Get some paints & paper and paint what you like instead of what the game tells you to paint? Lots of good videos on how to paint on youtube!

  28. sa66o6 says:

    @zoeytocool You can draw whatever you want .This game has as much replayability as you have imagination.

  29. wafflepoke25 says:

    this game is really helpful! i got it 2day!

  30. CrimsoniteThief says:

    @zoeytocool It has a gallery you can copy from but as for lessons, there’s not that many things to draw. It’s just to teach you the basics of art. I have this game and its kind of difficult to draw on a DS.

  31. redgnald says:

    hi i would like to know if you can save your finished works in the sd card or pc?

  32. ovr8een says:

    @AmbitiousMusicNote pics or didn’t happen

  33. Kryanwan8 says:

    @smile2lisa I mean hands that can’t draw on such a small space. Zooming doesn’t help if the screen is not only blocked by my hand, but also the fact that large hand + small drawing space = Cramping.

  34. smile2lisa says:

    @Kryanwan8 u can zoom

  35. Kryanwan8 says:

    I think the flaw with this game is that some people have big hands, and can’t draw shit THAT SMALL.

  36. AmbitiousMusicNote says:

    My tree on this game looked better then the teacher’s :3

  37. anonymuis says:

    @Electrolysing ehehe i suck at drawing with brushes while I’m good at drawing with brush in adobe illustrator omg! til now I’m still using pencil. I’ll try brush soon.

  38. rachelchunter says:

    I meant to say, I don’t know what’s after that, because I haven’t done the ocean wave picture yet.

  39. rachelchunter says:

    Well, it starts off with a simple black & white sketch of an apple. Next, it’s a simple coloured image of a sunset. Then, it’s a coloured painting of a tree in a field, with more details. After that, it’s a more detailed sketch of a pear (same as the apple only with more detail, black & white) & then you move on to a coloured, highly detailed picture of a half lime sitting on a blue cloth, with plenty of shadow & colour. The next picture will be an ocean wave. Hope this helps. =o]

  40. zoeytocool says:

    does this game make you draw the same thing over and over or does it have a lotttt offff things to drawwwww ????? cuz i want a game that last longg

  41. Electrolysing says:

    @anonymuis I don’t think so, because with this tool you can draw with brushes normal people do not have. There are also very useful tips. And you can draw and train everywere!

  42. Usermoslander947 says:

    When does this come out!?

  43. huntsmaster911 says:

    @soccerplayagrl101 Japanese ^o^

  44. soccerplayagrl101 says:

    when it got to :33 i was like, woah, its in japanese?! (or chinese, idk..)

  45. anonymuis says:

    If you love to draw, this game is highly recommended! The touch has no delay! If you can’t draw, the raster tool can help you! Drawing with this game is just like drawing w/ paper & pencil! You won’t regret if you purchased it! -3 (except if drawing is not your thing of course!)

  46. SoniaIsAwesome says:

    It says online its for DSi, will it work for a DS lite? I just dont want a DSi yet because I just got my DS lite not to long ago lol

  47. potsbeatnt3000 says:

    @juliy123456789 ok thank you
