  2. Pikachunojutsu says:

the normal dsi dosn’t wobble, the normal one :P

  3. redice1024 says:

You should have told us the screen resolution of the ds. Which is 256 by 192. The new iPhone has over 900 by 600

  4. MrMagicalToast says:

i think they made the screens bigger so my grandma can play animal crossing
    lol jk jk
when they announced this i asked the game stop dude “are the games gonna play in a higher resolution?”
he said “yes, it has a bigger screen”
i said “how will they increase the resolution of some games, like the 2D ones and the older ones?”
he said “they made the screens bigger”
    gawd, gamestop is ignorant

  5. MultiCool55 says:

i think the screens are bigger bexause people may have bad xision or maybe it would be sold towrds adults im getting it because i have poor vision when it comes to reading letters

  6. dlman21 says:

in some of the other nintendo dsi xl reviews they say the screen looks great and it’s not pixelated but some nintendo dsi xl reviews say it’s really pixelated ….. so im wondering if i should get the nintendo dsi xl….. my hands are small , so would the dsi xl be a good choice for me……? thanks….

  7. lftenjamin says:

GH you mentioned, and yes only two people play them, but my big thing with no GBA slot is the fact that I can’t transfer pokemon from fire red/leaf green, and ruby/saphire/emerald to my pearl/diamond/platinum. So I’ll just stick with my lite.

  8. Tormundellis says:

“Like my thing, its shiny on the top.” wow.

  9. Schwarzwaldkuhin says:

I thought the screen quality was an overall improvement.

  10. CandysAllMediaReview says:

If the screen resolution was larger, there would have those black bars i.e. widescreen and real low res games would be in a small box which I don’t think anyone would like so they had to stick to the same resolution as the Dsi.

I just got my XL today and I am in love with it. It’s totally worth upgrading from a Dsi because the large screens and totally improved sound takes the DS gaming experience to a whole new level!

  11. YorbalAirsoft says:

just my problem is that this is their forth ds system… and now they have a fifth ds (DS 3d) system coming out sometimes early next year

  12. LauxHawk says:

@PeopleAndCheez Thought of that as well. Ship the games with 2 versions and it will autoplay the correct one. I doubt that is too hard to do….maybe. And how big are those games. 100MB? So not a storage issue.

  13. LauxHawk says:

@PeopleAndCheez Oh..Well they could pull an iPad and have old games runs at low resolutions and DSi XL games run at higher ones….

    But yes, you are right.

  14. LauxHawk says:

@PeopleAndCheez It if scaled correctly, maybe not.

  15. bdallred says:

“Or unless you’re playing guitar hero: on tour……all two of you” Ahah.

  16. Gakuro84 says:

can u do a review only about the resolutions and the pixels? and the video quality? cause im still wondering which one to buy dsi or dsi xl.. can u do that pls?

  17. Celerystinks says:

i still got a messed up Original DS :(

  18. triforceman1000 says:

I’ll just stick with my DSi.:L

  19. ZeldaUniverseTV says:

Depends – if you still play GBA games, stick to the DS Lite. Otherwise you’ll need to choose between the DSi and the XL. That’s your choice to make! I highly recommend getting a DSi though.

  20. m12bow says:

    they did it
    because it prints money bitch

  21. carmenfatfat says:

I will just stick with my Nintendo DS Lite, GBA SP (only for the original pokemon red) and Gameboy color: purple (but sadly i trashed it after getting my GBA SP).

  22. SideWeaver says:

@HOLYCHAOSDRAGON I am not too worried about the GBA functionallity myself. The consoles are cheap enough or there are always emulators etc. I actually brought the Dsi Xl today and I love it. I just thought I would pop the question because I am sure many People would want to actually see that answered,

  23. HOLYCHAOSDRAGON says:

@Sideweaver, The DSiXL is an option to those who want a larger screen. It has an improved sound and it also has improved battery life in comparison to the regular dsi. Although there is little benefit to going from the dsi to the xl it is not necessary but merely an option.

The dslite and the regular ds are the only ones with gba functionality. You could find a Gba sp or micro for cheap if you want a gba but just like the Dsi, the DSiXL will not be able to play gba games.

  24. MrSmelljelly says:

nintendo should have brought back a game-boy slot for the dsi xl
    oh well

  25. AndrewXAnarchy says:

    I know.

  26. NDSiXL says:

WOW over 2,000 views thanks everyone.

  27. SpyroSan says:

@NDSiXL That’s the problem. I have the latest updates and there’s never a readme.

  28. NDSiXL says:

@SpyroSan check your manufacturer flashcard for firmwire updates and read the read me file that comes with the nesds emulator.

  29. SpyroSan says:

    Where did you download NesDS?

I’ve downloaded it 6 times from different sites for my DSi XL.
Everytime when I start it it will freeze at the rom selection screen, this happened to all versions that I’ve downloaded.

  30. freddethemanyo says:

@NDSiXL I did that to so I’m kinda stuck =(

  31. NDSiXL says:

@freddethemanyo Try downloading the file from a different site.

  32. freddethemanyo says:

@NDSiXL I don’t think that that is it because i have downloaded it more than once

  33. NDSiXL says:

@freddethemanyo I think you could of got a corrupted file.

  34. freddethemanyo says:

nesDs is not working on my xl when I start it up the screen just turns black help plz =(

  35. NDSiXL says:

  40. NDSiXL says:

@geekforlifevandc WOW Nice! I’m never any good with programming.

  41. NDSiXL says:

@rbeoulve People usually just play DS games on the DSi XL.

  42. NDSiXL says:

@coonyman10 No but maybe in the future. The wii can play games off SD card.

  43. coonyman10 says:

@NDSiXL is there any way i can do it with an SD card?

  44. rbeoulve says:

lol why would i want to play that game … on a ds xl

  45. geekforlifevandc says:

@NDSiXL lol i got the thing to work and wrote some emulators my own

  46. NDSiXL says:

You will need a flash card like R4i, M3, DSTTi. Then you will need nesds and some roms. That’s about all
